Property name discovery.error_framework.cmdb_lookup.priority
Sys ID 6cafc3aff7d24672b6f867ebe2c9f375
Type string
Application Global
Default value ["sys_class_nameINSTANCEOFcmdb_ci_server","sys_class_nameINSTANCEOFcmdb_ci_netgear"]
Description Capture a JSON array of ENCODED QUERY FILTERS for the CMDB (starting with CI Class) to prioritize which CI is returned and populated in the CI Lookup attribute. EMPTY value implies there is no preference for the CI Lookup. Default (out-of-the-box) Encoded Query Filter: sys_class_nameINSTANCEOFcmdb_ci_server,sys_class_nameINSTANCEOFcmdb_ci_netgear. The above Encoded Query Filter prioritizes CIs in the Server Hierarchy followed by CIs in the Network Gear Hierarchy. Other Examples: sys_class_name=cmdb_ci_win_server^install_status=1,sys_class_name=cmdb_ci_win_server^install_status=7. The above Encoded Query Filter prioritizes installed Windows Servers followed by retired Windows Servers. Tip: Using the IS A filter, for example, CI Class IS A Server (sys_class_nameINSTANCEOFcmdb_ci_server) is an easy way to prioritize the lookup for all CIs under a Table Hierarchy in the CMDB.
